| First day @ work.... |
was damn tiring!!!! I was late on my first day of work ): Damn la, the station to my office building's so far away.. Not like Amex office, the lift from the station goes up directly. Anyway, I guess cause I'm already familiar with the products, I could start hands-on immediately. I only gotta familiarise myself with the systems which are different. Then guess what! My duties require me to liaise with the people from mid-office. Guess who I saw in the list. HOHOHO my dear cousin. He doesnt know that I'm not with Amex anymore so he was damn shocked when I called him. So far so good, so far so good (: DBS' volume of trades' like 8 times more than Amex's. Which is good cause being busy is always better than doing nothing, my personal preference. (:
Met Yvonne, Amos, Jacqueline, YingRu and Serena after work. Shopping! Cause Y could get us 40% off all items at espirit, even sales items! But sad to say, I didnt get anything other than a belt. Cause even their XS is too big for me! I really did like a blouse........ ): Anyway, total bill was like close to 600$ and we got close to 300$ off, that's quite alot uh! Had Mac for dinner then I cabbed home with YR and S. Uncle Cabby talked alot.......
A man jumped off the track at the CCK station yesterday at 8am?!?!?! Luckily I wasnt on my way to work, I would have freaked out!
